This is a suggested private itinerary. We confirm the final sequence, visit arrangements and overnight locations in your proposal.

Day 1: Athens, Mystras and Monemvasia

Travel from Athens towards Sparta and the Byzantine site of Mystras. Explore the areas suited to your walking level, then continue to the Monemvasia area. Overnight near Monemvasia, with time for an evening introduction if arrival permits.

Day 2: Monemvasia and the coast towards Mani

Spend the morning among the lanes, squares and sea views of Monemvasia’s Lower Town. Continue through the southern Peloponnese towards Gytheio and the Mani region, with breaks along the way. Overnight around Areopoli or Limeni.

Day 3: Stone villages and the Mani coast

Spend a full day exploring a manageable selection of Mani’s villages and coastal stops. Areopoli, Limeni and the southern peninsula can be combined according to your interests. Diros Caves may be arranged as an optional visit, subject to operation and availability. Overnight again in Mani.

Day 4: Kardamyli, the Kalamata area and Athens

Travel north along the coast towards Kardamyli and Kalamata, with time for selected village or seaside stops before returning to Athens. A Kalamata drop-off or an extra night can be planned instead of the Athens return.

Suggested overnight plan: 1 night near Monemvasia · 2 nights in Mani. Accommodation is confirmed separately in your proposal.

• Tailor the journey
  Choose characterful guesthouses, add a beach day, stay longer in Monemvasia, or extend towards Ancient Messene and the western Peloponnese.
• Plan for the route
  Mystras has steep, uneven paths, while Monemvasia’s lanes are cobbled and its upper town involves a climb. Vehicle access inside historic settlements is restricted. The route can be adjusted for gentler visits. Swimming, cave visits and boat activities depend on season and local operation.
• Driver and licensed guiding
  Your driver manages the road journey and shares local insights. You visit archaeological sites and museums independently unless a licensed tourist guide has been arranged. Tell us which visits you would like guided.
• Walking and mobility
  Passengers must transfer to a vehicle seat. Wheelchair storage, boarding assistance and vehicle suitability require advance confirmation. Tell us about walking limitations, strollers and other mobility equipment before booking.
• Dates, pace and overnight stays
  The duration and overnight locations shown are suggestions. Opening hours, travel conditions and your interests may require changes. Daily driving hours and any additions are agreed in your proposal.
• Cancellation
  Athenaos tours and transfers have free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Separately arranged accommodation, admissions and other third-party services follow the conditions stated in your proposal.

• Pickup and final destination
  The suggested itinerary begins and ends in Athens. A final drop-off in Kalamata, an airport connection or another onward journey can be built into your proposal.
• Airport or port connections
  Provide your flight or ship details, arrival date and any fixed onward departure. We confirm the meeting point and allow for the road travel required.
• Hotels and daily meetings
  Your driver meets you at the agreed hotel entrance or another accessible point. Each day’s departure time and meeting arrangements are confirmed for your itinerary.
